Thank you for ur query.......I am trying to answer it as follows :

1. When the Stores initiates material requisition, who will ensure
compliance of re-order level for which every company will have internal
guidelines? Is it at Stores level itself or at the approving authority
end at the next level?

*Answer (SMA)*

*The Re-order level depends on the Store not the approving authority
bcoz.... Re-order levels are maintained at the Store end. Approval is given
on the basis of Stock Position report sent by the stores. (Some companies
maintain stock related software that indicates the stock re-order level by
itself - which can be seen at the authority end.)*

2. Is it selection of appropriate vendor (Or VENDORS) / Supplier
(Or Suppliers)? If comparison of prices is to be made, then quotation
will have to be obtained from more than one vendor / supplier in the
approved list, isn't it?
